What does "WOD" stand for?
The "WOD" stands for the "workout of the day".
i am just starting out, what if i can't do the wod?
Each WOD can be scaled (or adjusted) to provide a suitable challenge for athletes at any level.
will i get bulky doing crossfit?
It depends on your fitness goals. If your goal is to bulk up, we can adjust your fitness track to achieve this. By training in the WODs, eating right, and putting in the work you can gain lean muscle mass. Also the opposite, to lean out we can create a fitness track for you.
what if i don't know anybody in my class?
CFDL is a community of athletes ranging from beginners to general fitness addicts to competitors. Every class has a coach that can help and guide you through meeting new people and trying new things.
what does a class at cfdl look like?
We start with introductions, do a general warm up, prep movement and get all modifications (or scaling) to meet your needs, the clock starts 3... 2... 1... GO! we WOD! Then there is a general cool down and stretch to wrap class up.
